Humans of DevOps - The North Pole

Encouraging our elves to accept automation took a lot of time and patience. They had been doing their tasks manually for a very long time. The number of changes to the Nice and Naughty list is so high close to Christmas Eve that our elves could not keep up with the backlog. Now that I’ve moved our database to the cloud, we have been able to automate the change process so that the list is now 99.9% accurate before Santa leaves. Not everyone is onboard with the new technology yet, but we are working little by little towards full acceptance.”
